A Safer Reality

About the Program:

About the Program:
Statistics from the Transportation Authorities reveal that approximately 350 children are
injured and 30 are killed each year due to inadequate road safety—ranking as the highest
number among OECD countries.
In the past year, our organization, in collaboration with Viewport Studios and the leading
team from the Department of Psychology at the University of Alabama, received a grant from
the Department of Justice and the Israel Innovation Authority. With this grant, we have
developed a unique simulator based on research into children’s behavior patterns when
crossing roads, conducted by Prof. David Shovel, a leading expert in the field.
The simulator aims to help prevent accidents involving children at road crossings.
